Day 2: From Panda Base to Tibetan Feast: A Journey Through Sichuan's Wonders

Morning:

Your private driver will arrive early at the hotel entrance to pick you up, and you'll start today's adventure with the first stop being Chengdu Panda Base. Park entrance tickets are included. However, shuttle fees within the scenic area are at your own expense.

• • Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located in the northern suburbs about 10 km from downtown, is dedicated to protecting and breeding China's unique endangered wildlife. It recreates a natural panda habitat with lakes, streams, bamboo forests, and lawns. A major highlight is the chance to observe pandas up close, while the "Panda Villa" offers a reserved resting area for the animals.

Afternoon:

‼️Sanxingdui Museum‼️

1. Non-statutory holidays: According to museum policy, tickets are released 5 days in advance. For example, if you book tickets on March 10th for March 15th, our agency will make every effort to secure them for you. However, if unsuccessful or tickets sell out temporarily, your visit will be automatically adjusted to the "Jinsha Museum" with no refund for the price difference. If the Jinsha Museum is closed, a ticket refund of 72 CNY/adult applies. 2. Statutory holiday ticket policies (e.g., National Day, May Day, Spring Festival, etc.): All holiday period tickets are released 5 days in advance at once. For example, if October 1st-8th are statutory holidays, September 26th will be the snatching date for all October 1st-8th tickets. We will try our best to secure tickets. If unsuccessful or tickets sell out temporarily, your visit will be automatically adjusted to the "Jinsha Museum" with no refund for the price difference. If the Jinsha Museum is closed, a ticket refund of 72 CNY/adult applies.

• Sanxingdui Museum: The Sanxingdui Museum houses over a thousand precious cultural relics—including bronze, jade, gold, and ceramic artifacts—unearthed from the nearby archaeological site. The museum consists of two main exhibition areas: a general hall displaying gold, copper, jade, stone, and pottery, and a dedicated bronze hall featuring various unearthed bronzeware.

Afternoon / Evening:

After the tour, your driver will be waiting at the entrance of the scenic area to transport you to the high-speed rail station for your train to Jiuzhaigou.

Day 3: Paradise on Earth: Explore the Fairytale World of Jiuzhaigou All day and Stay Comfortable at Jiuzhaogou Hotel

Morning/Afternoon:

After breakfast, the driver will arrive at the hotel entrance at the agreed time to take you to Jiuzhaigou Valley. The park now requires real-name booking. You'll enter by scanning your passport, so please bring your identification.

Travel Photo Shoot: Includes scenic area transportation fee—Jiuzhaigou sightseeing bus.

Today also includes a photo shoot in Tibetan attire (makeup & hairstyling not provided) and three complimentary, digitally enhanced photos. 

• Jiuzhaigou National Park: Located in Jiuzhaigou County, Ngawa Prefecture, Jiuzhaigou is renowned as a "beautiful fairyland" for its snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and vividly colored lakes and shoals. Crystal streams flow through forests and shallows, alongside traditional Tibetan architecture and local ethnic culture. The scenic area features a Y-shaped layout of three valleys (Shuzheng, Rize, and Zechawa) and is best explored using eco-friendly sightseeing buses that stop at designated points.

• Long Lake: Changhai, or "Long Lake," is Jiuzhaigou's largest water body, stretching several kilometers in a distinctive S-shape with deep ink-blue waters. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and glacial scenery, it is fed solely by mountain snowmelt. Remarkably, the lake never dries up nor overflows, earning it the Tibetan name "the never-empty, never-overflowing treasure gourd."

• Huanglongshan Yuanshi Forest Scenic Area

• Five-Color Pond: The Five-Color Pool, situated at 3,900 meters above sea level at the top of Huanglong Scenic Area, consists of hundreds of colorful pools that resemble a vibrant palette under the sunlight. Overlooked by the 5,588-meter-high Xuebaoding Peak, these clear pools display shifting colors due to the light absorption and reflection of travertine and algae at their base.

• Reed Lake: Reed Lake is a semi-marsh lake covered with reeds that turn green in spring and summer and golden in autumn and winter. When in bloom, fluffy reed flowers fill the area. A flowing stream called the Yudai River runs through the middle, dividing the lake in two.

• Panda Lake: Panda Sea is a lake in Jiuzhaigou known for its fish population, including the mountain naked carp. It is said that giant pandas once frequented the area to drink and forage. From the northern trestle bridge, a trail descends to the Panda Sea Waterfall, where a stream cascades down the cliffside. In winter, the waterfall freezes into a spectacular icy landscape.

• Tiger Lake: Lao Hu Hai is next to Shuzheng Waterfall, where you can hear the thunderous sound of water. In late autumn, the trees along the shore have turned yellow and red, creating a mottled reflection in the clear lake water, resembling a tiger's skin. Legend has it that this is where the mountain tigers come to drink.

• Nuorilang Waterfall: Nuorilang Waterfall, located in the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, is one of China’s large calcified waterfalls and has been featured in numerous films and TV dramas. Its Tibetan name means "majestic waterfall," and it cascades down multiple levels between two mountains, forming a rare forest waterfall. A viewing platform opposite offers a panoramic view. The waterfall was especially spectacular in autumn, but it collapsed in an earthquake and no longer exists today.

• Shuzhengzhai: Shuzheng Village is the most prosperous of the nine Tibetan villages in Jiuzhaigou. Its entrance is marked by nine white pagodas, known as the Nine Treasures Lotus Bodhi Pagodas, symbolizing the unity of the villages. Inside, a folk culture village showcases traditional Tibetan architecture, intricate door and window paintings, local costumes, and daily life, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience.

After your visit, our driver will be waiting at the park gate to take you back to your hotel.

Day 4: A Smooth Transition: Nature's Wonders to City Comfort

Morning/Afternoon:

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up in advance and take you to visit Huanglong Scenic Area, then send you to the high-speed rail station to take the train back to Chengdu.

Park entrance ticket is included. However, the cableway (up & down) and sightseeing bus (limited to 5,000 tickets daily) are at your own expense. Today's VIP perk includes a complimentary portable high-altitude oxygen bottle, one per person.

1. • Huanglong National Scenic Area: Huanglong National Scenic Area, located in Songpan County, consists of two main sections: Huanglong Valley and Munigou. Huanglong Valley is the primary and most famous attraction within the area. The best time to visit is during summer and autumn when the lakes are full and the scenery is most vibrant. In winter and early spring, water levels are lower, but the landscape remains beautiful.

   • Huanglong Valley: Huanglong Valley, located within Huanglong Scenic Area, is a canyon descending from Xuebaoding Mountain. It features China's largest and best-preserved travertine karst landscape, with hundreds of colorful calcified pools scattered along its length. Notable among these are the Five-Color Pond, Zhengyan Pond, and Yingbin Pond, which attract countless visitors each year.

   • Huanglong Temple

   • Waterfall Brilliance Scenic Spot: Ascending along the winding plank road, you will see clear water cascading down a wide, terraced rock ledge about 10 meters high, forming dozens of layered waterfalls. The steep cliff behind is covered in golden, flaky travertine deposits. When illuminated by sunlight, the waterfall reflects a variety of colors, creating a dazzling display known as “Flying Waterfall and Flowing Brilliance.”

   • Penjing Pool: Between Xishen Cave and Poluo Pool lies a 1,500-meter-long travertine flow known as "Golden Sand Paved Ground." Adjacent to it is the Bonsai Pool area, composed of nearly 100 interconnected pools with multi-colored bottoms and mirror-clear water. Surrounded by trees, stones, flowers, and wild fruits, it resembles a natural bonsai garden crafted by nature.

After the tour, your driver will be waiting for you at the entrance of the scenic area to take you to the high-speed rail station for your train back to Chengdu. Our pickup driver will be there early to meet you and transport you directly to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
