Itinerary
Day 1: Chongqing Classic First-day Tour: Landmarks, Old Streets & Night Views
Morning/Afternoon:
Pick-up at the hotel. The staff will contact you around 20:00 one day in advance to confirm the specific time.
Chongqi Shibati Traditional Style Blocks: Chongqing Shibati Traditional Style Area is an 88-mu cultural tourism project with a construction area of 170,000 m² and over 2 billion yuan in investment. Positioned as a window for Chongqing’s historic “mother city,” it integrates business, scenery, tourism, and culture to showcase 800 years of local life. Focused on urban sightseeing, intangible heritage, and creative experiences, it combines the “night economy” with cultural, business, and creative industries. The area is planned with four zones: traditional culture experience, trendy cultural creation, an international exchange center, and a lifestyle center, aiming to become an international cultural tourism destination.
During major holidays, the waiting time for the Yangtze River Cableway may be extended, and the route will be adjusted to Eling Second Station.
Testbed 2: Creative Industry Park, located on Elan Street in Chongqing's Yuzhong District, is a literary and trendy hub popular with local youth. Originally the site of a Chinese Central Bank currency printing facility, it now blends historical character with modern cultural and visual style, featuring a vibrant cluster of cafes, bars, and unique shops that attract visitors seeking creativity and innovation.
Liziba Station: Liziba Station in Chongqing is renowned for its unique design where the light rail passes directly through a residential building. This fusion of transportation and architecture has made it a popular photo spot and urban landmark. Visitors can watch trains pass through the structure from nearby viewing decks and explore the surrounding area for local food and culture.
Afternoon:
Longmenhao Old Street: Longmenhao Old Street, a well‑preserved historic and cultural district in central Chongqing, covers 540 mu (approx. 36 hectares) with a total built area of 180,000 square meters. It includes notable areas such as Zaoziwan, Mishi Street, Xiahao, and Juelin Temple, representing one of the larger‑scale heritage streets in the city's main urban area.

Xiahao Old Street: Xiahao Old Street is a historic neighborhood in Chongqing's Nan'an District, located near Nanbin Road on a slope by the Yangtze River. It includes streets such as Xiahaozheng Street, Dongjiaqiao, Juelinsi Street, and Vineyard. The area's revitalization began in June 2016 and gained wider attention through a TEDx talk by Ao Wei in July that year, who became known as the “South Shore Woman” for her connection to the old street.
Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street: Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is a bustling commercial and fashion landmark in downtown Chongqing's Yuzhong District. Centered around the People's Liberation Monument and extending to surrounding roads, it is lined with department stores, hotels, and restaurants, making it a popular destination for shopping, dining, and people-watching.

Hongya Cave: Hongyadong Commercial Street, located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in Chongqing’s Yuzhong District, is known for its traditional Bayu-style “Diaojiaolou” stilted architecture. It offers visitors a chance to explore old streets, enjoy river views, sample local cuisine, and experience its vibrant night scenery—making it a popular spot for both tourists and photographers.

Day 2: Through Legend & Landscape: A Chongqing Journey with Riverside Stay
Morning/Afternoon:
Departure and go to Jiuli City via Yuxiang Expressway. During the Golden Week holidays, we may depart earlier to avoid congestion. Please understand.
Chiyou Jiuli Palace: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located in the northern suburbs about 10 km from downtown, is dedicated to protecting and breeding China's unique endangered wildlife. It recreates a natural panda habitat with lakes, streams, bamboo forests, and lawns. A major highlight is the chance to observe pandas up close, while the "Panda Villa" offers a reserved resting area for the animals.
Cruise: The cruise experience included this cruise, which will randomly assign tickets for Jiuli No. 1, Fuling Cruise, or Wanzu Boutique Cruise, allowing you to enjoy the Wujiang River Gallery.
Tips: The specific cruise time will be confirmed by the ship's notification on the day of departure.
Wujiang Gallery: Wujiang Gallery spans the main section of the Wujiang River from Gongtan Ancient Town to Wanmu Town, including the east‑west “reversed flow” Yangjiang River section. It encompasses Gongtan Ancient Town and the Apeng River Drifting scenic areas. Rich in history and ethnic Tujia culture, the area is known as the “western gate” of the Tujia homeland and the cradle of traditional Xilankapu textiles and batik.

Day 3: Wulong: Bridges, Peaks & Mountain Retreat
Morning/Afternoon:
Voluntary consumption of self-funded projects:
1. Glass viewing platform at the entrance of the Tiankeng: 25 yuan per person. Not recommended for those with a fear of heights or who are easily frightened.
2. Electric car from the tiankeng exit to the parking lot is 15 yuan per person.
Three Natural Bridges: Wulong Three Natural Bridges, a UNESCO World Heritage site about 20 km from Wulong County, is renowned for its karst landscape and giant sinkholes. Featured in films such as Curse of the Golden Flower and Transformers 4, it comprises three massive stone arches—Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong Bridges—forming the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia.
Afternoon:
Fairy Mountain National Forest Park: Fairy Mountain National Forest Park in Wulong, Chongqing, features expansive grasslands and mountains—a rare landscape in southern China. It serves as a popular summer retreat, where visitors can enjoy horseback riding. In winter, the area offers skiing and snow activities. Many tourists stay overnight here and visit nearby attractions such as the Three Natural Bridges and Longshui Canyon the next day via shuttle from the tourist center.
Evening:
Return to Chongqing by private transportation.
