Solitary Beauty Peak Prince City Scenic Area: With a history dating back over 600 years to the Ming Dynasty, this national 5A-level scenic area was originally a princely estate. It perfectly integrates natural and cultural landscapes, famously described as "a city within scenery, and scenery within the city." Duxiu Peak, its iconic landmark, is the very origin of the globally renowned saying, "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world," inscribed on its stone wall. Xiaoyao Building Site: The ruins of Xiaoyao Tower, located between Jiefang Bridge and Fubo Mountain in Guilin, are the remains of the east gate tower of the Tang Dynasty Guizhou City. Its name comes from a stone inscription bearing the characters "Xiaoyao Tower," attributed to the renowned Tang calligrapher Yan Zhenqing (709-785), famous for his powerful and dignified script.
